This photo contains the a slug. Sometimes a slug can be a detritovore. A detritovore is an organism that feeds on and breaks down dead plants or animal matter. By doing this to get its food, it returns essential nutrients back to the ecosystem. Some other detritovore's are worms, bacteria, and fungi.
