5 Different Types of Carbohydrates
1. Oats are an example of a fiber carbohydrate. Fiber carbohydrates help your digestive system, and also whole wheat, fruits, and vegetables are examples of fiber.
2. Chicken is an example of a glycogen carbohydrate. Glycogen can be broken down into glucose for energy which can be found in meats.



 3. Honey is an example of a monosaccharide carbohydrate. Monosaccharides are carbohydrates made only of one molecule, and are less common, but still can be found in some foods such as this one, honey. Honey gets it sweetness from fructose and glucose.
4. Table sugar is an example of a polysaccharide carbohydrate. Table sugar contains different molecules together, making it a dissacharide or polysaccharide.
5. Pasta is an example of a starch carbohydrate. Starches consist of tubers or grains, other examples of starch carbohydrates are rice, corn, barely, and potatoes.
