The earthworm is an example of a hermaphrodite. They have both male and female reproductive organs.
 

These pine cones are an example of a gymnosperm cone. The cone is where the seeds of a pine tree are kept. The seeds are exposed on the surface of the pine cone.

An example of gymnosperm leaves is the pine needles on a pine tree. This example is a blue spruce pine tree.

This dandelion is an example of introduced species. The dandelion was imported from Europe in 1671. The European immigrants brought them to America with them because they were a part of their diets.
 

Mint is an example of a rhizome. The stem of the plant grows horizontally underneath the ground.
